San Diego Hotel to Open in August
An August completion is expected for the $22-million, 12-story Embassy Suites hotel at Pacific Highway and Market Street in downtown San Diego.
Designed by BSHA and Tucker, Sadler & Bennett, the 335-suite hotel is being built by C. A. Larsen Construction Co. and Pepper Construction Co. It is a joint venture between Santa Fe Pacific Realty and Embassy Suites Inc.
A few miles to the north, Coldwell Banker Real Estate Finance Services has arranged $37.4 million permanent financing for the recently completed Embassy Suites Hotel at 4550 La Jolla Village Drive, across from the University Towne Center mall. Embassy Suites Inc. and EPT Hotel Equities Ltd. borrowed the money from Aetna Realty Investors, Hartford, Conn.
