Atlantic Richfield Co. added to its stake in Tricentrol PLC and indicated an intent to buy the entire company. Arco, which swooped into the market and scooped up 14.6% of the oil exploration and development concern’s shares, said its further purchases brought the total stake to 14.8%, or 13.8 million shares. In addition, Arco said in a statement it was considering a full bid for Tricentrol, which also has been targeted for acquisition by Elf Aquitaine U.K.
