Citing expenses associated with the acquisition of Plessey Peripheral Systems, Distributed Logic posted a loss of $385,072 for fiscal 1987, contrasted with a net income of $880,801 for the previous year. Revenues for the year ended Oct. 31 totaled $15.9 million, an increase of 7% from the $14.8 million reported for fiscal 1986. The Anaheim-based manufacturer of computer peripherals reported a loss of $125,087 for the fourth quarter of fiscal 1987, contrasted with net income of $74,135 for the same period last year. Revenues were $5.6 million for the quarter, an increase of 60% over the $3.5 million reported for the fourth quarter of fiscal 1986. Don J. Elg, president of Distributed Logic, said the company expected the 1987 merger with Plessey to continue to have an impact on net income during the first quarter of fiscal 1988.
