AND WAIT, THERE’S MORE: It’s so hard to keep up with all of Keith Emerson’s new bands. The latest is 3, featuring Emerson, Carl Palmer and Robert Berry, a young singer and bassist from San Jose. The band’s first album, “. . . To the Power of Three,” is due out next month, featuring such songs as “Talking About,” “Lover to Lover” and a remake of the Byrds psychedelic hit, “Eight Miles High.” The group will begin a seven-week American club tour April 7 in Philadelphia. . . . And honky-tonk songwriter Jimmie Dale Gilmore has finally made his own album, “Fair and Square,” which is produced by Joe Ely and just out from HighTone Records. The album features new Gilmore tunes as well as gems from Ely, Butch Hancock and Townes Van Zandt.
