L.A. Lotto Player Wins $5.2 Million

Someone who bought a Lotto 6/49 ticket in Los Angeles’ Lincoln Heights picked all six numbers in the weekend game to win the $5.2-million jackpot, the California Lottery announced Sunday.

The jackpot ticket was purchased at Bi-Rite Market on North Broadway, but the identity of the winner will not be known until the ticket is turned in.

Four tickets had five correct numbers and the bonus, and each is worth $365,879. They were purchased in San Jose, Santa Rosa, Santa Ana and San Dimas.

Sales for Saturday’s game totaled $13.7 million and prizes totaled $9.1 million.
