Soviets Report Oil Pipeline Accidents

MOSCOW —
The Soviet Union lost 400,000 metric tons of oil in pipeline accidents in 1987, oil minister Vasily Dinkov said on Wednesday.
Dinkov told Tass news agency that measures were under consideration to increase the reliability of Soviet pipelines and cut down on spills.
