‘What’s Wrong With Congress’

Share

The growing inability of Congress to enact necessary legislation (including appropriations) in a reasonable time, or at all, is probably the gravest of all of the threats to our own country’s well-being.

It often seems to me that Congress has become its own constituency, and has lost either the ability or the will to represent the needs of the entire nation.

I earnestly hope that your series will assist in reminding Congress of the widespread citizen concerns over this situation, and possibly it will lead to the formation of a national commission or study group with the experience and stature necessary to propose solutions to this dangerous trend.
