Santa Monica : Car Dealer to Mark 50th Year

The W. I. Simonson Mercedes-Benz dealership in Santa Monica will celebrate 50 years in business with an open house for the public on Feb. 27 and 28. The showroom, at 1626 Wilshire Blvd., was destroyed in a 1986 fire. It was recently rebuilt in the original Spanish-revival style to preserve its historic character.
