Contemporary Soviet paintings and sculpture will go on sale at an exhibition in Helsinki, Finland, in April--claimed to be the largest show of new Soviet art to be held outside the Soviet Union. "The exhibition will contain around 100 paintings and some 20 pieces of sculpture by 50 different artists," exhibit organizer Erkki Savolainen said Tuesday. It takes place during 40th anniversary celebrations of the Finnish-Soviet Friendship Treaty.
