Dan Aykroyd will revive the character of Elwood Blue. Elwood--half of the Blues Brothers singing duo that Aykroyd created with the late John Belushi--will make his comeback at a star-studded satellite broadcast benefit for the homeless to be held this year at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York, it was announced Wednesday. Co-sponsored by Coca-Cola Inc. and the Hard Rock Cafe restaurants, the show will be produced by Lorne Michaels of “Saturday Night Live” fame and will include music and comedy performances plus remote broadcasts from around the world. Money raised will be distributed through the newly formed Hard Rock Cafe Foundation for the Homeless. Aykroyd is an investor in the New York and Houston Hard Rock Cafes.
