Nike Inc. strongly denied reports Wednesday that an agreement has been reached with the Beatles to end the use of the song “Revolution” in the shoe company’s TV commercials. “The fourth commercial in our ‘Revolution in Motion’ campaign is breaking nationally and will run through March 22, as originally planned,” said Nike spokesman Kevin Brown. “Our decision not exercise our option for a second year’s use of the song was a unilateral business decision.” Brown said any attempt to suggest there’s been a settlement of the Beatles’ lawsuit against Nike and its advertising agency is a “headline grabbing gimmick.”
