WCAC : Gonzaga Defeats Santa Clara

Gonzaga’s junior guard Doug Spradley scored 16 of his game-high 18 points in the second half, leading the Bulldogs to a 65-62 victory over Santa Clara in a West Coast Athletic Conference game at Spokane Thursday night.
The Bulldogs led by as many as 12 points in the second half en route to their fourth consecutive victory.
Senior forward Danny Roe added 15 points and forward Todd Franklin had 11 for Gonzaga (15-11 and 6-7).
Santa Clara (17-9 and 8-5) was led by forward Jens Gordon, who scored 14 points and pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.
In a game at Portland, USF defeated the University of Portland, 71-69.
