Tentative Pact Reached in Cleveland Teacher Strike

CLEVELAND —
A tentative settlement has been reached in the week-old Cleveland teachers’ strike, federal mediator Jack Buettner announced Thursday. Details of the agreement were not disclosed, pending a ratification vote. Supt. Al Tutela refused to comment on when schools might reopen for the district’s nearly 73,000 students.
