The announcement of whether Brazil, Morocco or the United States will be host of the 1994 World Cup soccer finals has been postponed four days to July 4.

The world soccer body’s executive committee said the date, originally June 30, was pushed back to allow the three host candidates more time to present their bids.

FIFA’s 158 members federations will meet for their regular congress on July 1-2 in Zurich, Switzerland, where FIFA is based.

The executive committee also reiterated its objection to the authorization of players’ agents and said it was drafting instructions on the issue for its affiliates.

The panel’s decisions were announced in a statement transmitted to Geneva after a meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
