Lazers Play Host to Tacoma Stars Tonight

The Lazers, attempting to gain ground within their division as the playoffs draw near, play the Tacoma Stars tonight at 7:30 at the Forum.

After beating the San Diego Sockers in overtime Sunday night, 3-2, the Lazers have a 20-19 record and have won four straight at home.

Tacoma (21-20) beat the Cleveland Force Sunday night and trails the Lazers and Kansas City Comets by just one percentage point in the battle for second place.

The top four teams in the Major Indoor Soccer League’s two divisions make the playoffs. The Wichita Wings trail the Lazers and Comets by three games, with 17 remaining in the regular season.
