New York sports agent Norby Walters pleaded innocent to six misdemeanor counts stemming from his signing of former University of Alabama basketball players Derrick McKey and Terry Coner.
Walters and his partner, Lloyd Bloom, are charged with tampering with a sports event, commercial bribery and deceptive trade practices. Each face up to one year in jail and $2,000 in fines. Walters’ trial is tentatively set for May 9.
