Suicide and Murder

Share

In Nino Lo Bello’s article, “Austria Underground” (Feb. 14), some vital mistakes should be set straight. It was not Moedling but Mayerling where the suicide of the Crown Prince of Austria and Hungary, Rudolph, took place. It was not Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary who committed suicide. Ferdinand was assassinated in the summer of 1914 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, which in turn started World War I.
