Gelbard Chosen to Be Ambassador to Bolivia

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan announced Tuesday that he will nominate Robert Gelbard to be U.S. ambassador to Bolivia. If confirmed by the Senate, Gelbard, a career diplomat, would succeed Edward Rowell, who was named ambassador to Portugal.
