Israeli jets blasted Palestinian and Muslim guerrilla strongholds on the outskirts of Sidon, hitting at least six bases in Israel’s second anti-guerrilla air strike into Lebanon in a week, Lebanese police said. Twelve fighter-bombers staged a one-hour raid on targets near the port city, 25 miles south of Beirut. Police said two Palestinian guerrillas were killed and 15 people were wounded. The targets were described as five bases of Abu Nidal’s Fatah Revolutionary Council and one base of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The Israeli command said its planes destroyed buildings used by guerrillas for military storage.
