A federal bankruptcy judge rejected Elsinore Corp.’s reorganization plan for its Atlantis casino in Atlantic City. In a 90-page decision, Judge Rosemary Gambardella listed objections to various provisions. However, she said she would consider amendments, and the firm’s attorneys said they were confident that they could provide satisfactory changes. The company has been operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since November, 1985.
