KATMANDU, Nepal —
King Birendra of Nepal on Friday called for solidarity among the globe’s 650 million Hindus as he opened the World Hindu Conference. About 1,200 participants from 19 countries attended the opening ceremony of the four-day meeting in Katmandu.
