Local News in Brief : Norwalk : Sound Walls for Freeway
A $730,000 project to build sound walls along a stretch of the Santa Ana Freeway in Norwalk was announced this week by the California Department of Transportation.
The 12-foot concrete-block walls will be erected on both sides of the freeway from Rosecrans Avenue to Norwalk Boulevard. Work is scheduled to begin in June and be completed in 65 days.
