President Reagan left today for a 10-day Easter holiday at his California ranch after signing a $48-million humanitarian aid bill providing supplies to Nicaragua’s Contra rebels and medical care to war-injured children.

The measure received final approval in the Senate on Thursday on an 87-7 vote. Reagan signed the bill in his residence with no fanfare. The signing was announced by a brief executive order delegating responsibilities to various agencies to carry out provisions of the law.
