‘Stamp of Approval’ for Postage Hike
The increases in postal rates may seem reasonable at first glance, but the distribution of the increases is unfair. Junk mail distributors who kill trees and take revenues from magazines and newspapers are still getting welfare rates. Congress should change the rates so that junk mailers would pay the same rates we do when we send legitimate mail. In fact, it would not be a bad idea to make them pay more.
