Local News in Brief : Irvine : UCI to Offer Clinic for Women Job Seekers

The UC Irvine Women’s Opportunities Center will offer a four-week job seekers clinic starting today. The class is designed to help women master the practical techniques of job search and skills assessment. Clinic sessions will be interspersed with active career research and job interviewing.

A weekly panel of speakers from government and business will also address the class. In previous classes, members have formed strong support and a networking system, a spokesman said.

Classes, taught by licensed marriage and family counselors Jeanne Golding and Betty Sutorius, will meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fee is $125.
