Separated Siamese twins Benjamin and Patrick Binder were discharged from Johns Hopkins Hospital Children’s Center in Baltimore, Md., exactly seven months after the operation that separated the backs of their heads and a shared vein. The twins were to return to West Germany accompanied by their parents, Josef and Theresia Binder, friends and a member of the Johns Hopkins medical staff, a hospital spokeswoman said. Benjamin will be going to the family’s home in Ulm, while Patrick is to be admitted to a West German hospital for observation because of an incident March 13 when he choked after a feeding and stopped breathing.
