Culver City : Mental Health Center Director
The Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center, which is based in Culver City, has named a new director for its residential treatment centers for the mentally ill.
Ellen Bruder, a former director with the Community Mental Health Center in Piscataway, N. J., will direct Casa de Amistad in Cerritos, Excelsior House in Inglewood, two Crossroads facilities in the South Bay, and Jump Street, a short-term residence for mentally ill homeless people in West Los Angeles.
Plans for the residential houses include transitional employment places and the development of a volunteer program.
