Local News in Brief : Gang Members Charged
Cocaine and weapons charges have been filed in Seattle against six men linked by police there to Los Angeles street gangs.
Charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine were filed against the men, described by Detective Richard Buckland Jr. as members of the “Ninety-Two Hoover Street Crips” gang.
Their arrests were the first by an anti-gang task force of Seattle detectives and federal agents formed last month.
Four of the men were arrested Wednesday at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport as they prepared to board a flight to Los Angeles.
