Michael Keaton segues from exorcism duties in “Beetlejuice” to realizing people’s grandest wishes in “Dream Team” for Imagine and Universal. Keaton and Christopher Lloyd lead an enterprising group who’ll take on any fantasy for the right price. John Connelly and David Louca wrote the antic screenplay. Directed by Howard Zieff in Toronto and NYC in early June. . . . A group of recent USC film grads starts “Fishtale” July 11. Comic yarn of a Catalina fisherman who hauls in a rare breed that turns out to have aphrodisiacal powers. Fred Gallo directs; Charles Myers produces on a bargain budget of $250,000.

On the road: Holly Hunter plays a young woman who picks up her two children and boards a bus East in “Angels,” to film in August, with producer Elliott Lewitt making his directorial debut. Based on the novel and written by Dennis Johnson. . . . Producer Don Guest (“At Close Range”) sets his road picture, “Okie Blues,” which he also wrote and will direct, in a westerly direction. The Depression era saga has matriarch Mary Steenburgen taking her family to their California dream and is loosely based on the experiences of his relatives.
