Kudos to the Museum of Broadcasting’s salute to “The Dick Van Dyke Show” at the County Museum of Art. The standing room only audience has proven yet again that this timeless classic still carries a hefty appeal here in Los Angeles. Shut up, Mel!

I am in no way connected to the show. I have no axe to grind other than to (ask) KDOC Channel 56 to air the show again. There are thousands of us out here in the Southland who would much rather be treated to 30 minutes a day of this hilarious show instead of 60 minutes of “Mr. Ed” each weekday. Whose idea was that?

Shut up, Mel. Just get the show back on the air! And pick up my hair from the cleaners.
