Siamese Twins Separated

PHILADELPHIA —
Fourteen-month-old Siamese twin girls who were joined from the waist down have been separated in a 12-hour operation, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia officials announced Tuesday. The girls, who were not identified, were reported in critical but stable condition after the operation Monday.
