A 24-year-old man was found dead Wednesday in the front yard of a house in the 600 block of 61st Street, police said.
The dead man was identified as Albert Rivera, and police are investigating the death as a homicide. They had no information on his address or cause of death.
A neighbor phoned police shortly after 8 a.m. and reported seeing a man lying in the yard, said police spokesman Bill Robinson. Officials said Rivera had been dead several hours. An autopsy is scheduled today.
