TODAY ‘Ngati’ New Zealand, 1987, 89 minutes , Plitt , 5:45 p.m . You’d like to enjoy this: 1948 New Zealand life among the Maori, written by a Maori (Tama Paoti), acted by amateurs and centering on the dissolution of prejudice in an Aussie visitor. But the dialogue is rib-nudging exposition and director Barry Barclay has such lax rhythm, he seems to be casting you adrift.
