Chunk of Ice From Sky Crashes Through Home

TONBRIDGE, England —
A British family narrowly escaped injury Saturday when a lump of ice about the size of a soccer ball smashed through the roof of their cottage.
The ice was believed to have fallen from an aircraft and has been kept frozen for investigation by the Civil Aviation Authority, a police spokesman said in this southern English city.
