TRW Inc.’s profit increased 32% to $66 million in its first quarter, up from $50 million in the year-ago period. The Cleveland-based producer of auto and spacecraft parts, electronic and energy-related products, said “improved operating profit and a lower federal tax rate contributed about equally” to the increase.
