First 500 Move Into New Town for Chernobyl Staff

MOSCOW —
The first 500 people have moved into a new town built to house staff members from the Chernobyl nuclear power station, two years after the world’s worst nuclear accident occurred, the official Tass news agency said Monday.
Construction is continuing in the town of Slavutich, which was founded six months after the Chernobyl disaster and will have space for 23,000 people.
