Volvo to Recall ’83 Models

Volvo Cars of North America is sending recall notices to 90,000 owners of 1983 and early 1984 Volvos for emission repair, the Environmental Protection Agency said Monday. It said all 1983 DL and GL models with 2.3-liter, four-cylinder fuel-injected engines and certain early 1984 DL and GL models with the same engines are being repaired by the auto maker at no charge.
