Ropak Corp. in Fullerton has agreed to sell its 20-liter plastic shipping containers in Japan as part of an agreement with C. Itoh & Co., a giant Tokyo-based trading company. Ropak, which operates plants in Japan as well as in North America, said it expects to introduce other products to the Japan market. Ropak, which had revenues last year of $69 million, announced Monday that it has offered $28 million to purchase Vulcan Packaging in Toronto. Vulcan’s board of directors said it is considering the offer.
