Tennis Tournament Begins Today in Ojai

The Ojai Valley tennis tournament, the oldest and largest amateur event held at one location in the United States, will start its four-day run today at Ojai.

The 89th event in the series will include the Pacific 10 Southern Division men’s and women’s championship matches, the collegiate invitational, the men’s and women’s community college title matches, the men’s and women’s open and several junior events.

Championship matches will be played at Ojai’s Libbey Park Saturday and Sunday.
