L.A. Physician Gets Stake

A Los Angeles physician has acquired a 13.9% in Professional Bancorp, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. H. Leon Brooks said he owns 93,050 common shares of the Santa Monica bank holding company as an investment.
