Los Angeles County Bar Assn. Will Salute Attorney Samuel Williams

Los Angeles attorney Samuel L. Williams, a past president of the County Bar Assn. and the State Bar of California, will receive the county bar’s highest honor, the Shattuck-Price Memorial Award, at a noon luncheon May 11 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Guest speakers from the Disney organization will be Michael Eisner, chief executive officer and chairman of the board, and Frank Wells, president and chief operating officer.
Williams, a partner in the firm of Hufstedler, Miller, Carlson & Beardsley, has been president of the Los Angeles Police Commission, has served on the steering committee of the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund and on the board of governors of the Coro Foundation and on the board of trustees of USC.
