In the wake of an unauthorized trip to South Africa, England’s entire water polo squad has been banned from domestic and international competition until the 12 participants come forward and are positively identified, an English official announced.
“Competing in South Africa by our members, who at all times need permission to take part overseas, could risk Britain’s suspension by FINA (swimming’s governing body),” David Reeves said.
