Murdock, chairman and chief executive of Flexi-Van Corp., said that when its $38.50-per-share cash tender offer for the outstanding common stock of Flexi-Van expired on Wednesday, 3,594,295 shares had been tendered and not withdrawn. As a result, FLX Acquisition now owns about 97.3% of Los Angeles-based Flexi-Van, including 1,708,876 shares that were contributed by Murdock in exchange for FLX Acquisition Co. common stock.
