Carl Karcher Should Be Judged by His Achievements, Generosity to Charities
The SEC allegations against Carl Karcher and their highly publicized nature makes me wonder if he is being singled out because of his high-profile religious and political positions.
That the alleged insider trader offenses occurred nearly four years ago and involved only $300,000 makes me wonder about the prominence given the matter.
I have nothing to do with Karcher or his business, but, as a Catholic, am concerned that a prominent and exemplary member of our faith may be getting the Ivan Bosky treatment for other reasons.
