Drug Lab Explodes
A methamphetamine lab, which authorities say may have been the largest in North County, exploded in Carlsbad Saturday.
No one was injured in the blast, which occurred at 11:32 a.m. in the 4800 block of Alondra Way, according to a Carlsbad police spokeswoman. Four unidentified people, two of whom were caught trying to flee the scene, were arrested in connection with the drug-processing operation.
