WASHINGTON —
Drivers carrying illegal drugs have lost 542 vehicles in the last five weeks to the U.S. Customs Service under a new government program, the agency said Friday.

One driver carrying a single marijuana cigarette lost an 18-wheeler tractor trailer worth $120,000, the service said.
