LIFE WITH FATHER

Share

Regarding “Father Comes Home” (March 27): Gerald W. Haslam and his family are going through some sacrificing and discomfort, and accepting it, because they are family. They are following family custom, and their children--now sharing family happenings good and bad--will have good memories that give them a depth of self-satisfaction that is invaluable and an everlasting memory of belonging.

The terrible sorrow of this story is that it is becoming unusual.
