Western Digital will donate $100,000 toward construction of UC Irvine’s engineering center and auditorium. Construction on the three-story center and 110-seat auditorium is scheduled to begin in May and be completed by March, 1989. The $4-million center will become the new headquarters for the university’s School of Engineering.
