Anchor Glass Container Corp., Tampa, Fla., announced that it will close its Chattanooga, Tenn., glass container plant and its Reno, Penn., mold manufacturing plant on or about Aug. 1. These closings will affect about 350 employees at the Chattanooga plant and 100 at the Reno Mold facility. The Chattanooga and Reno plants were acquired through the acquisition of Diamond--Bathurst in August of last year.
