A coalition representing women injured by the Dalkon Shield intrauterine device said it opposes the bankruptcy reorganization plan of the device’s maker, A. H. Robins Co., as unfair and inadequate. This plan is a victory for the stockholders and the Aetna Casualty & Surety Co.,” said Karen Hicks, president of the Dalkon Shield Information Network of Bethlehem, Pa.
